Samsung has continued to update their devices to Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The smartphone is updated immediately to the most current version to date Android – 6.0.1. After installing the Android 6.0.1 firmware for Galaxy S5 users will have all the basic functions of the Marshmallow, including features e.g like power saving mode Doze, search in context on the screen, Now on Tap and the ability to manually set permissions for installed application.
You can Check for updates in the device settings, which can be found in “About phone”.
Remember when the firmware is readily available, you can always flash the Android 6.0.1 rom manually through Odin.
