Earlier this month, it appeared the first information about the new smartphone from LG, which was initially mistaken for a G4 Pro.Later it turned out that the new product is called the LG V10 and has a number of unique features. Today, LG officially sent reporters an invitation to a special event, which will take place October 1 in New York.
The invite doesn’t give any hints as to what we can expect at the event but it’s likely to be a new product, perhaps LG is going to formally announce the dual-screen V10that has already been rumored multiple times.
Since the event is movie-themed it’s likely that whatever the company ends up announcing is going to have special video features, then again this is purely speculation at this point.
LG hasn’t said anything about the event, it has only sent out the invites, which don’t even contain any hints as to what we can expect the company to show off on October 1st in New York City.
The LG V10 was recently discovered in China’s TENAA base, it’s said to have a secondary display much like the Samsung Continuum, aside from a 5.7 inch Quad HD main display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor as well as 3GB RAM and 64GB storage.
It has already been rumored earlier this month that the LG V10 could see an October launch and with LG confirming a press event for next month there’s a possibility that we just might get to see this device.
