The new redmi Note 5 pro smartphone has been released by Xiaomi and for the second time in history it is launching in Indian first. This post will be about the Cons and 6 Things i dislike about this smartphone. Taking a closer look at Note 5 pro, it will definitely be a worthy upgrade from xiaomi’s previous smartphones. This device is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 636 processor and a faster Adreno 506 GPU for graphics intensive tasks. It is also available in 4gb/64gb version and 6gb/64gb respectively.
6 Things i dislike about The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone:
1. Micro USB port:
In 2018 xiaomi is making use of the standard Micro USB port for this smartphone which is quite dissapointing, a USB Type C would have been a better option. Am sure many buyers and Fans will really be dissapointed with this, that means there won’t be a reversed Changing Support and a charging port/USB damage is inevitable.
2. Single hand usage:
The big size of the display, will makes it very difficult for users to operate this phone with one hand. Single hand usage is still very difficult with a 5.99inch screen display.
3. No 4k video recording support:
Despite the fast and Capable snapdragon 636 chipset, the Redmi note 5 doesn’t support 4k video mode that means this smartphone only support 1080p recording, we really don’t know why Xiaomi has refused to implement this great feature for this smartphone.
4. Old android firmware version:
The redmi note 5 pro runs on the official Miui Customized Os interface and i am also all aware of the amazing features on Miui 9. But the fact still remains the MIUI Operating System is still powered by Android 7.1 Nougat. which is quite disappointing for a phone released in 2018. Am sure many of users would love to see Android 8.0 oreo on this device.
5. Slow Charging:
The phone doesn’t get a fast Charger, although the chipset does support the quick Charge4.0 technology. That means inside the Original xiaomi note5 pro packaging box buyers will only be getting the standard5 volts and 2 amp Charger from xiaomi which doesn’t support the quick Charging capabilities.
6. Hybrid sim tray:
Instead of using a Hybrid Sim tray The company could have easily use 2 sim card and a Separate dedicated sdcard slot. It would have made this Smartphone alot more usable for alot of people. As It stands now user would have to Compromised on only using one sim card or using two sim cards.
