   Flashing and installing a stock rom can help you solve many problem with your mtk devices. If your phone is malfunctioning, dead, or infected with a virus a simple factory reset might not be able to solve the problem. You will need to flash back the original firmware of your phone using Sp Flash tool, this tutorial will work for any mtk device including Tecno, infinix, Gionee e.t.c

Requirement:

This are the things we are going to need in other to restore back your phone.

1.ADB and Drivers Installer: HERE

2. SpFlashTools (latest version)  HERE

You can also use sp flash tools to ( Flash Recovery, Memory Test, Parameter Setting, Format Device / Hard Reset.)
That is all we need.

How To Install Adb Drivers :

 In other for sp flash tool to work with our device, we will need to install  ADB Drivers

STEP 1: Extract the ADB All in one file , Open the exe file that you extracted, You’ll have this window

STEP 2: Type Y and press enter , Do this 3 Times till the installation is done Now You’ve Installed ADB Files and Drivers.

How To Install USB Drivers For Flashing with Sp Flash Tools:

Step 1 : Connect your phone to the PC Using your USB Cable
Step 2: Open My computer , Right click anywhere and select Properties
Step 3: From the left side , Select ” Device Manager “
Step 4: Now reboot your phone , You’ll find this

STEP 5: Quickly Right click on it , And choose ” Update driver software ”

STEP 6: Choose the second option ” Browse “

Now choose the folder that you downloaded ” All Mtk USB Drivers ” After Extracting it

STEP 7: Press next , This should appear to you , Meaning that the installation  is done successfully.

How to Flash or Install roms and Stock firmwares To your phone using  SpFlashTools.

STEP 1: Extract SpFlashTools and open it as administrator , It should look  like this

STEP 2: Click on Scatter-Loading

STEP 3: Navigate to your ROM’s Folder and choose the MT6xxx_Android_Scatter.txt File

STEP 4: Press Open , Then a list should appear like this

STEP 5: Choose ” Download Only ” then press download

 STEP 6: Now make sure your phone is connected to the USB , then turn it off , It should start downloading after seconds

STEP 7: After it finishes Flashing your phone , this OK message will appear ,

You can disconnect the USB and turn on your phone now
