I have an RM-1067. I have tried using Sandisk memory cards and the phone starts to freeze and I have to reboot, sometime 5 or 6 times a day. If I remove the memory card and sim cards and reboot/shut off the phone/insert only the sim cards ; phone does not freeze. Any idea what the problem is. Only a certain type of memory card? Or is there an update missing?

Or is there an update missing? Soft reset or hard reset and Windows recovery tool does not fix the problem.
The problem is with your memory card, try to format it using a PC make sure you select fat32 when formatting and see how it goes.
Nice try. The phone currently has no memory card installed and must be reset as much as 6-10 Times a day. Tried soft reset, hard default reset, Windows software removal and retro 8.1 install and upgrade to Windows 10 and phone still freezes intermittently.
some application you installed might have been causing the problem then. Flash the phone with a new firmware, do not insert a memory card and use the phone for a while.
Maybe you can figure out what is really causing the issues. Besides have you try a new memory card?
Does the phone restart immeditely or after using for a while?
Sometimes restarting and hanging might be an hardware fault, check your battery too.
Yes, tried new memory card. No difference. Phone starts immediately after soft reboot. I agree. I am leaning toward a hardware fault. But I will take your advise and flash the phone. Will let you know how it goes. Phones been nothing but trouble. Thank you……

Ok, this has been interesting. Found product code, found right flash. Did some reading and Windows Recovery Tool for this phone has already been performed. WRT is the latest flash. So, that narrows things down to a hardware fault. I think it's the processor. Replace it, flash, and good as new.
